Our Commitment to Safety

Allied Integrated Management is committed to providing safe and healthy workplaces across all divisions, including Security, Facilities, Traffic, Pest, and Civil.

We recognise that effective health and safety management is essential to protecting our employees, contractors, clients, visitors, and the wider community.

We maintain a Work Health and Safety Management System aligned with ISO 45001:2018 to support legal compliance, risk management, worker wellbeing, and continual improvement.

1. Safe Workplaces

We will:

  • Provide safe systems of work and suitable resources
  • Eliminate hazards where reasonably practicable
  • Reduce risks through effective controls
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all operations
2. Legal Compliance

We will:

  • Comply with applicable Work Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and codes of practice
  • Fulfil our duties as a Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU)
  • Monitor legislative changes and maintain compliance obligations
3. Risk Management

We proactively:

  • Identify hazards and assess risks
  • Maintain risk registers, SWMS, and operational controls
  • Investigate incidents, hazards, and near misses
  • Implement corrective actions and preventative measures
4. Worker Consultation and Participation

We support our workforce by:

  • Consulting workers on safety matters
  • Encouraging reporting of hazards and incidents
  • Involving workers in risk assessments and improvements
  • Promoting accountability at all levels of the business
5. Contractor and Supply Chain Safety

We ensure that contractors and subcontractors:

  • Meet relevant licensing and competency requirements
  • Participate in site inductions and safety briefings
  • Follow Allied safety procedures and site rules
  • Are monitored through inspections and performance reviews
6. Wellbeing, Psychosocial and Climate Risks

We recognise emerging risks and will:

  • Consider mental health and psychosocial hazards
  • Manage fatigue, stress, and workplace behaviour risks
  • Assess impacts of heat, storms, flooding, and other climate-related risks
  • Integrate resilience into planning and emergency preparedness
7. Training and Competence

We are committed to:

  • Providing appropriate safety training and inductions
  • Ensuring workers are competent for assigned tasks
  • Maintaining required licences and certifications
8. Monitoring and Continual Improvement

We will:

  • Monitor WHS performance through inspections, audits, and KPIs
  • Review incidents and trends
  • Set safety objectives and measure progress
  • Continually improve our WHS Management System

Implementation

This policy is implemented through:

  • Procedures, SWMS, and operational controls
  • Toolbox talks, inductions, and training
  • Allied EDGE reporting systems
  • Audits, reviews, and leadership oversight

Accountability

Leadership is accountable for ensuring this policy is implemented, maintained, and aligned with the strategic direction of the business.

Availability

This policy is publicly available and accessible to all interested parties.
