Allied Group’s accredited integrated management system (IMS) underpins all aspects of the Allied business combining functions relating to the quality of the service, work health and safety standards and environmental management.
Our IMS is designed to support and continuously improve our integrated services model, in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and to the applicable standards.
ISO 9001: 2015: Through this standard, we have specified requirements for a quality management system which demonstrate our ability to consistently provide services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. We aim to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to the customer.
With this standard, we have set a systematic framework to manage the immediate and long-term environmental impacts of our services and processes to ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation & develop our business in a sustainable manner. Implementation of this standard enables us to identify and control the environmental impact of our activities and services; to continuously improve environmental performance; and, to implement a systematic approach to set and achieve environmental objectives and targets.
This as an international standard, documents the requirement for a health and safety management system and supports us strive towards Zero accidents. This standard assists us to control operational hazards and risks while improving our reputation. With this standard, we have organized how workplace health & safety (WHS) is managed through proactive and systematic approach.
This is the internationally recognised standard for Information Security & its certification demonstrates that our organization has invested in the people, processes, and technology (e.g. tools and systems) to protect organization’s data. By implementing this standard, we assure all stakeholders that confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all corporate data (such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information managed by third parties) is appropriately protected.
Allied’s approach to sustainability is embedded throughout our operations, in governance, culture and processes, and underpinned by our values of Trust, Respect, Integrity and Innovation.
This is supported by integrating accountability for the achievement of sustainable outcomes through training, KPIs and position descriptions. This helps us to ensure that our business will be sustainable well into the future by delivering positive outcomes for all of our stakeholders at the same time as achieving great business outcomes.
Our approach is informed by a robust stakeholder engagement process that has identified the priority areas for focus. This independently lead process identified a number of key areas (material issues), each of which has an articulated target, owner and program of work.
On-going stakeholder engagement is critical to the business and we prioritise establishing relationships that are collaborative and responsive. We regularly seek feedback from our stakeholders to ensure their perspectives are incorporated and impacts considered in decisions that we make, and also participate in relevant industry forums and associations to build our knowledge and form connections.
Allied Sustainability approach and its implementation is overseen by the Sustainability Committee. The Committee meets monthly to review progress against targets and ensure that the business is responding to all relevant environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities, including meeting legal and regulatory requirements.
